Before the big day rolls around, here are a few more helpful hints to prep you for the picnic:

MAP YOUR MENU

The Official Gypsy Picnic Map will help you make a beeline for your favorite food trailers, as well as showing the location of our stage and other activities. Remember, there are multiple ways to get into the Gypsy Picnic, no matter what part of Austin you’re coming from, see the Map for the best location for you!

TO BRING OR NOT TO BRING

Feel free to bring out a picnic blanket, collapsible chairs, and your Flip video camera. Just make sure to check out our list of what not to bring, so you don’t have to leave anything at the gates. Check out our FAQs to get all your questions answered.

BRING YOUR POOCH

Dogs are welcome at the Gypsy Picnic (on a leash at all times). But make sure you bring some baggies to dispose of any, err, packages they leave behind.

BRING CASH

Cash money is the currency of the realm, but if you forget to grab some green on your way out the door, there will be ATMs available on-site.

GETTING THERE

Auditorium Shores is conveniently located in beautiful downtown Austin, so whether you’re biking, hopping the bus, or driving you should have no problems making it down to the Picnic. If you arrive on two wheels and leg power, there’s plenty of on-site bike parking near the entrance on Riverside. If coming by car, there is no on-site parking, but several garages and surface lots can be found within easy walking distance. More info on how to get down to the festival can be found in our FAQs.
